82-year-old woman foils purse snatcher by refusing to give up her bag
CP - WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) - A man who knocked down an 82-year-old woman and tried to snatch her purse, ran away with nothing after she refused to give it up. The Wheeling woman was attacked at about 5 p.m. Wednesday as she and her husband were walking to one of their favorite's restaurants, said police Lt. Gary Gaus.
