N.H. woman celebrates her 90th birthday, then manages to escape from house fire
CP - SUGAR HILL, N.H. (AP) - A woman had a close call hours after celebrating her 90th birthday with family and friends. Sophie Fedorowicz, owner of North Country Cottages in Sugar Hill, escaped a fire in her home early on Sunday morning. She had smelled a faint odor of smoke when she went to bed at midnight, after wrapping up the party.
