I think marijuana should be kept illegal, just change the law a little. You should be allowed to grow three 5foot plants a year with a permit. And if your caught on the street with less than 100bucks worth in your pocket, your weed should be taken and you be let go a free man. It's a fact that alcohol and tobacco are far more destructive substances than marijuana, and many arguments have been made why hasn't marijuana been legalized since it's far less dangerous. I do not say legalize weed, but make tobacco and alcohol illegal as well!! And throw sugar and fastfood in there too.

Nah. I covered the government angle in my head. When tobacco first came out, it was probably a penny per pound, and than they created cigarettes. Cigarettes started for like a buck a pack, and within 30 years the'yre now 8bucks a pack. This means that a 5dollar joint, in 5 years after legalization where the government sells it, a joint would eventually be 12bucks and so on. Don' let the government take control!!

I have mixed feelings on this. It isn't a horribly destructive drug, although it is psychologically addictive. The body may not crave it, but the mind does. Now, if it is made legal, people would be free to smoke it whenever they want. As a prospective teacher, I want to be able to teach my students without dealing with the whole "high" aspect. I also would rather high people not drive and the like, since, despite people's objections, it does impair judgement. But Kris is right. Alcohol is worse for you.

I don't think you even know what you're looking for For my own sanity, I've got to close the door, And walk away...
