Of late there have been certain developments in my life to which I do not know how to react. Nor do I have the guts left in me to tackle the situation. It all happened when I was in school and was crazily in love with a girl. The relationship nurtured for more than ten years when cirstances led us to depart. Later on I got married and she too. After a long gap of 8/9 years she is again in touch with me. My love for her never receded and I cant describe how I felt when I heard her voice again. Situations are different now for both of us and I know this is going to create a lot of problems yet I cant erase her from my mind. The pain in my heart thrives and I am clueless what to do!

It's my opinion that if you are married, and she is too, then you stay married-- and faithful. If it hurts you that much to be in contact with her again, explain it to her, and cut off contact. Your decision was to marry someone else, not wait for her, and it's not fair to your wife if you are willing to drop her like a hot potato due to an old flame. Also remember that people change a lot in nearly a decade- I'm sure you have, and she has. How do you know you love her, and not the memory of her?

I guess if someone doesn't love you back, it isn't such a crime, But there's a fine, fine line between love, and a waste of time. ... And I don't have the time to waste on you anymore. I don't think you even know what you're looking for For my own sanity, I've got to close the door, And walk away...
